Swiss Chard

This Swiss Chard (Bright Lights) has been my companion since planting it in late April.  Despite it's lengthy tenure in my garden this season only one plant has bolted.  It's great in salads; saut√©ed in butter with feta and pine nuts; or in soups.  It has a rather intense taste - my husband doesn't like it unless hidden in a creamed soup - but it's super packed with nutrients so it's worth acquiring a taste for!
