Pumpkin's Progress (And other Squash Related Things)
Our Squash is really taking off! The zucchini are very large plants with a few female flowers to each, and I have found four female pumpkin flowers (one of which I hope has been pollinated properly - fingers crossed!). We planted Golden Zucchini this year, and two types of pumpkins. One is a Long Island Cheese pumpkin - named that because of its resemblance to a wheel of cheese when full grown - and the other is a French squash called Potimarron.
If any of you noticed the white colour on the leaves of some of the plants just know that is what's called "natural silvering" and is NOT powdery mildew (believe me - I checked).
